Tea tree essential oil is widely used in aromatherapy and is one of nature’s most powerful antiseptics. Although its use may cause irritation to sensitive areas of the skin, along with lavender essential oil, they are the only ones that can be used intact. It is ideal for treating acne and in cases of dryness of the scalp and dandruff. Cleanses skin imperfections caused by chickenpox or herpes and is useful in cases of minor burns, abrasions and insect bites. Tea tree is a fungicide and can be used in cases of nail fungus. Helps relieve arthritis pain, respiratory infections and sore throat. Helps strengthen the immune system to fight infectious diseases. It has strong antimicrobial and antiviral properties that make it useful in the treatment of common flu, cold and gingivitis.
Way of use
> To treat acne, apply a minimal amount topically on each pimple.
> To treat dandruff and oily scalp, add 30 drops of essential oil to 100ml of base oil of your choice and massage into the scalp.
> For sore throat, dissolve 1 drop of tea tree essential oil in half a cup of water and gargle. Stir the mixture before each gargle and repeat up to 3 times a day.
> To relieve pain or symptoms of arthritis but also to strengthen the immune system, add 6-8 drops of essential oil in warm water and relax in the bath for 10 minutes. Alternatively dissolve 15 drops of essential oil in 50ml of base oil of your choice and apply topically.
> For bronchitis, asthma, flu or cold, add 6-10 drops to the special ceramic device.
